Earlier today, Iker made an announcement saying that he finished his career at Real Madrid:
“I wish to announce here, on my official Facebook, that I’ve ended my career in this club this year to face new challenges outside the club. I’ve lived wonderful moments and I hope that they continue in my near future. I’ll tell you more in the next hours. Thank you for always being there!”
As it turned out, it was just a joke, in Spain today is the “Feast of the Holy Innocents” which is similar to April Fools’ Day.
